Summer Academy at Wylie Elementary kicks off this Monday, June 5th. Drop off begins at 7:45am with Breakfast provided from 8:00-8:30am, and pick-up starting at 11:45am in front of the Elementary building. If you did not register for your child, you will need to park and come into the school on the first day to register your student. Contact the school (903) 655-5201 if you have any questions.

End of the Year Party Pre-Registration is available for parents who plan to attend this event on Thursday, May 25. Please pre-register if possible. This cuts down on the wait time on the morning of the events.
Attention 2nd and 3rd grade boys- There will be a basketball camp available on June 5-9 from 1-3pm for a cost of $40 per camper. Please register by May 20. See flyer for additional information.

2nd grade Field Day is tomorrow, May 17, from 8:30am-12pm. Please pre-register to speed up the check in process. The pre-registration link can be found on the attached flyer.
3rd grade Field Day is Friday, May 19, at the Lions Stadium from 8:30-12pm.
2nd grade students will host a music program on Thursday May 18 and Friday May 19. Pre-registration for the music program is open. Please register in advance to speed up the process on Thursday and Friday as we try to accommodate family and friends attending the program.

11th grade student, Cason Weatherton, and Coach Farrell visited Wylie Elementary School to speak on perseverance with our 3rd grade students. Cason competed and won state on Friday, May 12 in UIL Shotput. We are so thankful for Cason and Coach Farrell for taking time this morning to discuss the importance of never giving up!
2nd grade parents- We have updated the pre-registration link for 2nd grade field day, which has been moved to Wednesday, May 17. Pre-register today if you plan to attend. We will also have shuttle services provided by HISD transportation to eliminate the parking on the grass area and mud.
HISD transportation will be providing shuttle service for parents tomorrow and Thursday for 1st and 2nd grade field day. This is to eliminate the problem of parents parking on the grass and in the mud. Please see the attached flyer for additional information.
Field Day pre-registration is open. Please complete this in advance to help us better prepare for parents attending our field day activities.

Our campus will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday May 2, due to STAAR testing for our 3rd grade students. No visitors will be allowed for any student.
Parents of 3rd graders, please make sure you child gets a good nights rest and eats a healthy breakfast! We are confident they will do fantastic on their Math STAAR!
