We are watching the weather closely for Monday and Tuesday's Relay Day. If the weather is not cooperating, we will move the event to the indoor practice facility at the high school. Unfortunately, because of COVID guidelines and the facility's limited capacity, parents or family members will not be able to attend. Please monitor Facebook and your email closely for additional updates. Thank you for your understanding.

Just a reminder that your child needs to return their permission slip for Relay Day. Relay Days will be on Monday, 5/24 for 5th grade and Tuesday, 5/25 for 4th grade. The events will be held at the Henderson Lions Football Stadium. Please have your child return their permission slip on Monday, 5/24. Thank you

You are invited to an open-forum style Parents' Meeting on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 5:30 -6:30 in the Northside Cafeteria. We will be taking suggestions for updates or changes to the district's dress code. Your input is very important!

Due to the snow and ice currently blanketing the East Texas area along with intermittent power outages, all HISD classes will be ROAR@Home (remote learning) Tuesday through Friday, February 16 - 19. During this time district staff and employees will work remotely if possible. All physical offices and facilities will be closed.
Students need to login to their Canvas accounts and check for messages and assignments each day. If you need assistance visit www.HendersonISD.net/roarhome or email your student’s teacher. Please make sure to check your child’s email, Remind accounts, or other messaging systems used by your teachers.
The district will continue to monitor the weather situation and announce any updates or changes on the district’s website (HendersonISD.org/weather) as well as via social media, the HISD mobile app and students messaging systems.

Monday is a planned Professional Development day for HISD teachers and staff. However, due to icy conditions across the area, staff may work remotely.
